The 'most expensive' townhouse in Dubai sold for Dh35.5 million

According to real estate brokerage Driven Properties, a five-bedroom, 4,558 sq. ft. townhouse has been sold for Dh35.5 million, making it the most expensive property ever sold in Dubai.

On Jumeira Bay Island, there is real estate that is part of the Villa Amalfi development. It has direct beach access, as well as rooftop sea and city views.

Homes in the complex offer views of both the renowned Dubai skyline and the Arabian Gulf on opposite sides. The townhouse neighborhood has a number of communal amenities and is centered on a private park.

Abdullah Alajaji, a founder of Driven Properties, said: “Jumeira Bay has outperformed every area in Dubai in terms of price growth over the past two years and has become one of the most desirable destinations for ultra-high-net-worth individuals. Following the success and sellout of our project on the island, Sea Mirror, we have seen a surge in demand for other properties there, most notably Bulgari Residences and Villa Amalfi.”

The biggest residential land sale in Jumeira Bay ever was completed last month for Dh180 million ($50 million).

All of Dubai’s ultra-exclusive luxury properties are expected to have a record year, with prices rising by 15% by the end of 2022.

Recent real estate sales in the emirate have set numerous records. A Palm Jumeirah Frond G villa with a 1,600-year-old olive tree in it was sold earlier this month for Dh128 million.

The most expensive home to be sold on the Palm Jumeirah was a garden villa that went for Dh67 million in July.
