The French Mediterranean-inspired waterfront community Riviera, which is being built by UAE-based Azizi Developments in the center of MBR City, one of Dubai’s business, entertainment, and retail districts, has reached major development milestones.
Giving an update on the project, Azizi stated that the first phase’s overall construction completion rate was 98%, while the second, third, and fourth phases have completion rates of 90%, 65%, and 21%, respectively.
It said that the anticipated completion times range from Q3 2022 to Q4 2024.
Riviera is a chic waterfront lifestyle area that will include 71 mid-rise towers with over 16,000 homes.
CEO Farhad Azizi said: “It is rewarding to see our efforts in ensuring construction speed and quality pay off. By carefully choosing our contractors and suppliers, and by procuring construction materials ourselves directly from manufacturers, we were able to increase our pace of construction substantially, all while elevating our quality standards to even greater heights.”
“Having just completed several buildings in the first phase, and having launched Rêve, the fourth phase of Riviera, our master-planned waterfront community is rapidly becoming a reality – one that will enhance and shape lives for generations to come,” he added.
In addition to completing 7 buildings in Riviera’s initial phase and the 634-unit Creek Views I project in Dubai Healthcare City, built at a cost of AED300 million, Azizi recently unveiled Rêve, its 24-building, ultra-luxury phase.
The developer is currently preparing for the remaining deliveries scheduled for 2022, which will total 8,895 units spread over 42 buildings.
