Residential sales start at 340-metre Dubai skyscraper ‘Uptown Tower’

New 340-metre skyscraper 'Uptown Tower' launches residential sales in Dubai

The residential units of the 340-meter-tall Uptown Tower, the newest skyscraper in Dubai, are now up for sale. The top 28 levels of the “SO/ Uptown Dubai Residences” are home to 227 branded signature residences.

The 340-meter structure is spread across 81 storeys, and will also feature a 188-key 5-star hotel – ‘SO/ Uptown Dubai’ – F&B services in The Atrium, and conference facilities. Prior to the debut, all 22 floors designated as Grade A offices were fully pre-leased.

  1. “The launch of our SO/ Uptown Dubai Residences is an extension of our world-class record and represents the next step on this journey, offering a prime destination for businesses and residents to experience all that Dubai has to offer,” said Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman, and CEO, DMCC, the developer.

“As global businesses increasingly turn to Dubai to access some of the world’s fastest-growing markets, we anticipate high demand from both local residents looking for a new premium home, and international investors looking for new opportunities in Dubai’s thriving real estate market.”

The tower and the sales of the units will serve as an early indicator for the “Uptown Dubai” master development, which is being constructed close to the Jumeirah Lake Towers neighborhood. The 5.8 million square foot Uptown Dubai District is home to two “iconic” high-rises, including Uptown Tower, as well as seven mid-rise mixed-use towers clustered around The Plaza. The two extremely tall structures were designed by Chicago architects Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill, who previously worked on the Burj Khalifa and Jeddah Tower. They were responsible for the Al Wasl Plaza’s architectural design as well as the master plan for EXPO 2020 Dubai.

Ellington, Sobha, and Danube are just a few of the developers who have been actively launching and selling new off-plan projects, according to JLT. There, the typical selling prices have increased to Dh1,000 per square foot and are probably going to continue to firm up. Concerning SO/ Uptown Dubai Residences:
