According to the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, the rental market in Ajman saw a notable 49 percent increase in transaction value during the first half of 2024, reaching AED2.277 billion.
The Department’s Director-General, Abdulrahman Al Nuaimi, stated that the increase in transactions is indicative of Ajman’s increasing attraction as a place to live and invest, which is bolstered by governmental programs and infrastructural upgrades.
He emphasized that Ajman is a desirable hub for both residents and businesses due to its advantageous location and high standard of living.
The Director of the Rental Regulation Department, Ammar Abdul Karim Al Kayed, stated that in H1 2024, residential rental contracts totaled AED1.211 billion, while investment and commercial contracts totaled AED80 million and AED989 million, respectively.
