On Palm Jumeirah, the record-breaking luxury tower One is now complete

One, the record-breaking luxury tower on Palm Jumeirah, has been completed

A project on the Palm that includes two of the most expensive penthouses in Dubai is now complete. Omniyat’s One at Palm Jumeirah, Dorchester Collection will soon be home to residents.

Investors made headlines in 2017 when one bought a penthouse there for Dh102 million, followed by another who bought a unit there for Dh73 million. “Our flagship residential building and Dubai’s most sought-after address is guaranteed to offer a unique lifestyle as well as an unrivaled way of living,” said Mahdi Amjad, Executive Chairman of Omniyat.

Launched in 2016-17, the project immediately set itself apart as being one of the Palm’s most visible spots. Initially, a joint venture, Omniyat later acquired full control of the venture, according to property market sources. The One at Palm Jumeirah leveraged the island’s reputation as an investment magnet throughout its project cycle.

Later Omniyat – one of the first local developers to collaborate with late Zaha Hadid on project designs – struck a pact with the Dorchester Collection, a bespoke hospitality brand. The association also includes some of Omniyat’s other projects in the city.

According to Christopher Cowdray, CEO of Dorchester Collection, “This project is a measure of true success, and together with Omniyat, we have now opened the doors to this new and iconic landmark.”

More to come on Palm

A new mega-project will soon complete on The Palm, The Royal Atlantis Resort & Residences. There will also be Arada’s first project in Dubai as well as the ‘Palm Flower’, with each floor dedicated to a single apartment. Prices could reach Dh200 million.
