On Al Marjan Island, both the project and the hospitality side of things are getting busier.
As a result of a partnership between Dalands Holding and Marriott International, another upmarket hotel, the W, will soon open its doors in Ras Al Khaimah.
The 300-room “W Al Marjan Island,” which is scheduled to open in early 2027, will be “enclosed by the Yanas and Jais mountains.”
This will be Ras Al Khaimah’s first W hotel. Al Marjan has attracted a lot of development interest as well as business deals, with one taking place just this week for an Accor hotel.
“Ras Al Khaimah continues to be a sought-after leisure destination attracting global travelers to its idyllic beaches and attractions,” said Saahil Lalit, Vice-President – Development, Middle East, Marriott International. “We look forward to continuing to support the growth of the tourism sector in the emirate.”
Dalands Holdings is an investment firm with projects in luxury and hospitality real estate. In Ras Al Khaimah, Dubai, and India, the company plans to own and build hotels and branded apartments.
There are about 3,000 hotel rooms on Al Marjan Island.
