Masaar, Sharjah's forested megaproject, has its first homes finished by Arada

The first homes at Masaar, a massive forested project located in Sharjah’s Suyoh district, have been completed by Arada. The Sendian district’s 430 homes have started the handover process.

Sendian homes are situated close to Masaar’s entertainment and recreation area and come furnished with smart home features.

Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal, Vice Chairman of Arada, said, “Ever since its launch, Masaar has been one of the bestselling projects in the UAE, with buyers drawn to its beautiful woodlands, nature-inspired architecture, and world-class amenities. We promised that Masaar would set a new standard of living for both Sharjah and the UAE, and today, we are immensely proud to be able to deliver on that promise, welcoming the first homeowners into this wonderful community.”

3,000 villas and townhouses make up Masaar, which is expected to be finished by the end of 2026. The master plan spans 19 million square feet and is divided into six gated districts connected by the development’s distinctive ‘green spine,’ which is a lushly landscaped and walkable stretch of 50,000 trees.

The second and third phases of Masaar’s 986 homes are currently under construction, with completion scheduled for the end of 2024. Before the year ends, contracts for the construction of Masaar’s final three phases will be given out.

Many finished facilities are already available to Masaar residents. After being formally opened in September 2022, the central precinct offers a variety of family-friendly sporting events, F&B options, and entertainment options. Some of these include the Zad food truck district, a skatepark, a kids’ adventure playground, and an events space.

The 6.6-kilometer Masaar Track, which winds through woodlands outside the master community, was unveiled by Arada in November.
