Dubai's Expo City to open on 1 October

Expo City Dubai is gearing up to open on 1st October, building on Expo 2020 Dubai’s pledge to inspire future generations.

Visitors are invited to visit two of Expo City Dubai’s most well-liked pavilions starting on September 1 in advance of the site’s official inauguration in October. The reopening of Alif – The Mobility Pavilion and Terra – The Sustainability Pavilion marks the beginning of Expo City Dubai’s journey.

Tickets, which cost AED50 per person per pavilion, are on sale at four box offices at Expo City Dubai beginning on September 1 and are also available online at the Expo website.

On September 1st, Garden in the Sky, with its spectacular 360-degree views, will also open. Tickets cost AED30 each. Children under the age of 12 and people with determination are not charged to enter attractions.

Through an immersive journey through the ocean and forest, Terra, a world-class example of sustainable best practices in architecture and design, will inspire visitors to reconsider their relationship with the environment. Alif, meanwhile, will transport travelers through time and across new horizons to learn how mobility has fueled human progress throughout history.

Alif and Terra will be open every day from 10:00 to 18:00, and Garden in the Sky will be open from 15:00 to 18:00 starting on September 16 before moving to 10:00 to 18:00.

The Surreal water feature, the Women’s Pavilion, the Vision Pavilion, as well as the children’s playgrounds, and the carousel, are other popular Expo 2020 Dubai attractions that will open in October.

The Opportunity Pavilion will later this year transform into the Expo 2020 Dubai Museum, a brand-new addition that will celebrate the accomplishments of Expo 2020 Dubai while illuminating the background and significance of World Expos.

The Expo School Programme is putting together an amazing and constantly changing array of immersive educational experiences, displays, and interactive workshops reflecting the themes of the pavilions, and Expo City Dubai is also anticipating the return of UAE students.

The public realm of Expo City Dubai will be open and accessible to the public for free. Visitors have the option of walking, but there are also buggies, the Expo Explorer, eScooters, and eBikes available (paid services).

Metro, car, and taxi access to Expo City Dubai is simple. Parking is offered at Al Forsan, Jubilee, Mobility, and Sustainability, including parking specifically designated for People of Determination.
