The “Real Estate Trading Movement” report for August 2024 was released by the. This report stated that it was discovered that the amount of The Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department revealed on Monday that the value of real estate transactions in the different cities and regions of the emirate of Sharjah reached Dh2.8 billion in August. A total of 3,055 transactions covered 7 million square feet of land.
According to the statistics, 3,055 transactions had been completed overall during that time. With a total value of Dh677 million, the number of mortgage transactions reached 342, representing 11.2% of all transactions, whereas the number of sales transactions reached 1,054, or 34.5 percent of all transactions. Of the total number of transactions, the remaining 1,659 transactions accounted for 54.3%.
The sales transactions happened in 105 locations spread throughout the emirate’s different cities and regions. These assets comprised agricultural, commercial, industrial, and residential areas. Regarding the kind of property exchanged, there were 409 deals involving subdivided towers, 242 built-in lands, and 403 vacant lots.
There were 948 sales transactions in the city of Sharjah overall. The “Muwailih Commercial” area continued to top the list of areas with the most sales transactions, with 271 recorded, followed by the “Tilal” area with 86, the “Al-Khan” area with 83, and the “Rawdat Al-Qart” area with 77.
With a cash trading volume of Dh238.5 million, the “Muwailih Commercial” area topped the list of areas with the highest trading volume. This was followed by the “Tilal” area with Dh136.7 million, the “Al-Mamzar” area with Dh89.9 million, and the “Al-Sajaa Industrial” area with Dh89.3 million.
A total of 78 sales transactions were made in the central region, the majority of which were concentrated in “Al-Qasimia City,” where 52 transactions totaled Dh30 million, the highest cash trading volume.
Twelve sales transactions occurred in the city of “Khorfakkan,” with three transactions each in the “Al-Harai Commercial District” and “Al-Harai Industrial District” topping the list. With Dh1.6 million, “Al-Gharb District” had the largest cash trading volume.
Ultimately, there were 16 sales transactions in Kalba city, with 3 transactions for each of the “Kalba Commercial” and “Al-Sur 4” areas. The area with the largest cash trading volume, “Al-Sur 1,” had Dh4.1 million in sales.
