Emaar, Dubai’s prominent master developer, has committed over $1 billion towards enhancing the city’s international profile through various infrastructure and cultural projects, the company announced today.
The investment portfolio includes the design and operation of Dubai Fountain, the world’s largest choreographed fountain, as well as the production of the New Year’s Eve celebrations at the Burj Khalifa, which draw global attention each year.

The business spends more than $50 million per year to maintain and update these attractions, including the recent installation of new lighting and projection systems for the Burj Khalifa’s façade.
These technical advancements allow the tower to display visual storylines that are visible to millions of people across the world.
Beyond physical infrastructure, Emaar leverages its influence through social programs overseen by the Emaar Foundation.
These initiatives include philanthropic housing, community development, and sponsorship of national sporting and cultural events.
