During H1 2022, Sharjah rental contracts increased by 6%

According to Sharjah 24, Sharjah Municipality (SM) reported that the percentage of rental contracts in the city of Sharjah increased by 6% in the first half of this year compared to the first half of last year.

The SM has made it easy for dealers to ratify these contracts in a variety of ways, which supports its objective of boosting residential, commercial, and tourist attractions.

In this regard, Ali Ahmed Abu Ghazien, Director of the Rental Regulation Department in Sharjah Municipality (SM), confirmed that 166,199 lease agreements of all types, including 133,531 residential agreements, 32,593 commercial agreements, and 75 investment agreements, were ratified in the first half of this year. This figure reflects the growth rate and increases in agreements.
