Dubai's Palm Jumeirah's four-floor penthouse sells for Dh220 million

This week, another penthouse sale in Dubai broke records, creating a flurry of excitement in the city’s real estate market. Tuesday saw the announcement by Luxhabitat Sotheby’s International Realty that it had finalized a transaction for the most expensive penthouse ever sold on the Palm Jumeirah for Dh220 million, following the record-breaking sale of a Marsa Al Arab penthouse in Jumeirah for Dh420 million.

Honey Deylami, the company’s executive partner, has closed the sale of a shell-and-core four-floor colossal sky palace at AVA at Palm Jumeirah, a prestigious Palm Jumeirah development with just 17 residences.

The development’s top story housed the penthouse, which had a built-up size of 33,406 square feet. The home contains a four-floor, 200-meter interior garden, a roof terrace with 360-degree views, a 360-degree infinity lap pool, and views of the Palm Jumeirah, Burj Al Arab, and Ain Dubai.

Honey said, “Palm Jumeirah is proven to be one of the most sought-after locations for ultra HNW clientele. Although very limited stock is available on the island regarding existing or new developments, 611 transactions took place on the island in Q1 this year, worth Dh 5.8 billion in sales volume.”

Exclusive villas are available at AVA at Palm Jumeirah, part of the Dorchester Collection, and feature private terraces, a pool, and 270-degree views in addition to a private lift and lobby. The complex consists of duplexes, simplexes, and the largest infinity pool, the sky palace residence.
