Dubai's Guinness World Record building, One Za'abeel One&Only, opens its freehold sales

The One Za’abeel One&Only near Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai’s next super-premium apartment complex, is now accepting freehold sales. The project, which is part of an Ithra Dubai twin-tower complex, has already broken the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest cantilevered building.

Only 94 One&Only branded ‘private houses’ will be available for purchase. The world’s ‘first vertical urban resort’ is housed in this skyscraper. In addition, 264 apartments will be available, including a 5-bedroom penthouse.

“With its mesmerizing architecture, central location, and exceptional mix of offerings, One Za’abeel is an exceptional place to live, work, and spend leisure time in one of Dubai’s most desirable addresses, a true reflection of Dubai’s ambitious spirit.” – Issam Galadari, Director and CEO of Ithra Dubai

A 1,150 square foot one-bedroom apartment costs Dh3.9 million, a two-bedroom costs Dh5.5 million, and a three-bedroom costs Dh9.9 million. The prices for the ‘Private Homes’ start at Dh4.4 million.

“Given the prestige, the location, and the Guinness record connection, prices are at a premium,” said an estate agent handling luxury properties in Dubai. “Plus, there are only a limited number of units available and that too will go down well with the kind of investors who will buy-in.”

As prestige as it gets

The One Za’abeel is one of Dubai’s next-generation super-tall towers, with the highest level of status. The World Trade Centre, the Emirates Towers, and the Burj Khalifa are all within walking distance. Then there’s Zabeel Park, which marks the beginning of the Sheikh Zayed Road section.

The presence of the cantilever, an engineering achievement that was completed to perfection with the lifting of the structure to fit in between the buildings, immediately distinguishes the One Za’abeel.

The beginning of sales at the apartment building has been keenly anticipated by the Dubai freehold market, with the hotel, which will be managed by Kerzner International’s One&Only brand, taking up the other structure.
