Dubai South records key achievements in 2021 and attracts more than 700 companies

Dubai South, the largest single-urban master development focusing on aviation, logistics, and real estate, ended 2021 on a high note by recording various outstanding achievements across its different divisions, that includes attracting new clients and companies, selling out of projects, signing top-level partnerships, and launching unique projects.

Dubai South Properties has completed almost all of its units at The Pulse, an urban mixed-use development consisting of 1,400 apartments and 240 townhouses, and due to the project’s success, the company has also launched The Pulse Villas, with the first and second phases already sold out.

Following Expo 2020 Dubai, and based on popular demand, The Pulse Beachfront was launched, and the company successfully sold phases one and two to interested investors, with the final phase expected to launch during Q1 2022.

Residential District Villa Plots (Baiti) were also launched, and the company also sold out all of the plots. As a result of its unique features, strategic location, and the company’s track record of delivering on its promises, Pulse community development was launched phase by phase and has continued to grow rapidly.

Currently, the Residential District has a population of over 25,000 residents, who enjoy its unique lifestyle and amenities. Additionally, Sakany, Dubai South’s first leasehold staff accommodation that emphasizes resident welfare, has an occupancy rate of 99 percent.

The company has also launched The Avenue, a limited number of commercial freehold plots that can be purchased on a payment plan and developed for commercial use by investors.

Due to its efficiency in providing customers with services and business solutions, Dubai South Business Park recorded outstanding numbers in 2021 compared to 2020, leasing 243,805 square feet of space and retaining 85 percent of its companies.

Currently, more than 4,600 companies operate out of Dubai South, attracting more than 700 new ones. Moreover, the total number of people working out of Dubai South reaches 20,848 individuals by the end of 2021.
