Dubai is looking to score an asset record in 2025. Up to 7,100 new billionaires are expected to move to the city and bring US$7 billion (DH26 billion) to the fresh capital.
This number alone could compete with almost half of Dubais’ total foreign direct investment since last year by highlighting the Emirate’s growth situation as a magnet for the prosperity of the world.
A new report from Betterhomes shows that Dubai is no longer seen as a temporary, luxurious front-post base, but as a permanent basis for the world’s elite. appeal? A powerful combination of security, tax efficiency and first-class connections. This distinguishes itself in a global landscape that is increasingly shaped by political risks and rising tax burdens.
In 2024, the UAE welcomed 6,700 new millionaires. If only 5% of the 142,000 expected to migrate worldwide in 2025, if Dubai is available to choose, the effect could be economically and socially transformative.
“We are seeing capital not just arrive in Dubai, but commit to it,” said Louis Harding, CEO of Betterhomes. “What’s unfolding is a shift from speculation to permanence—high-value properties, legacy investments, and long-term vision.”
