Dubai sees over AED23.1 billion in weeklong real estate transactions

According to data provided by the Dubai Land Department (DLD), 3,229 real estate transactions of over AED 23.1 billion were completed for the week ending August 25, 2023.

According to the DLD data, 2,361 flats and villas were bought for AED 5.77 billion, and 183 plots were sold for AED 1.33 billion.

The top three deals included the sale of a plot in Madinat Dubai Almelaheyah for AED 93.37 million, a property in Palm Jumeirah for AED 76 million, and a third plot in Al Barshaa South Second for AED 64.1 million.

With 51 sales transactions totaling AED 182.3 million, Madinat Al Mataar had the most this week, followed by Al Hebiah Fifth with 24 transactions totaling AED 59.3 million and Saih Shuaib 1 with 19 transactions totaling AED 33 million.

The top three transfers of apartments and villas were three on the Palm Jumeirah that went for AED 65,000,000, AED 57,000,000, and AED 54,000,000, respectively.

For the week, mortgaged real estate had a total value of AED 15.75 billion. In the meantime, 121 properties totaling AED 301 million were distributed among first-degree relatives.
