Dubai records over AED7.3 billion in weeklong transactions

According to data released by the Dubai Land Department, 1,809 real estate transactions totaling AED7.3 billion were completed during the week ending October 7, 2022.

AED975.52 million was paid for 98 plots, and AED4.47 billion was paid for 1,711 apartments and villas.

For the week, mortgaged properties totaled AED1.47 billion, with 157 properties worth AED418.56 million granted between first-degree relatives.

The top three land transactions were land in Business Bay sold for AED74 million, land in Umm Al Sheif sold for AED72 million, and land in Palm Jumeirah sold for AED58 million. This week, Jebel Ali had the most transactions with 18 sales transactions totaling AED58 million, followed by Al Hebiah Fifth with 15 sales transactions totaling AED52 million, and Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens with 14 sales transactions totaling AED293 million.

The top three apartment and villa sales in Palm Jumeirah were for AED55 million, AED42 million, and AED36 million, respectively. This week, Business Bay had the most sales transactions worth AED363 million, followed by Palm Jumeirah with 143 sales transactions worth AED1 billion, and Umm Suqeim Third with 137 sales transactions worth AED370 million.
