Dubai is one of the top Wealthiest Cities

Dubai has officially joined the world’s top 20 cities  to prosperity. Today it houses 81,200 billionaires, including 237 centi-millionaires (more than $100 million prosperity) and $20 billion.

According to a report by Henry & Partner, published in collaboration with New World Wealth, Dubai rose to third place and ranked 18th in relation to the number of wealthy people living in the city.

The research emphasizes Dubai’s continuous expansion as a prominent worldwide hub for investment, business, and high-net-worth individuals, solidifying its position as a top destination for wealth and prosperity.

Dubai also topped Arab wealth rankings, emerging as one of the world’s fastest-growing cities for millionaires. According to the most recent report, it has earned the top spot in the Arab world and risen from 21st to 18th on the global list of the world’s wealthiest cities in 2025.

Over the last decade, the city has seen a remarkable 102% increase in the number of billionaires, making it the world’s third-fastest growing metropolis for high net-worth individuals (HNWIs), after only Shenzhen and Hangzhou.

The survey stated that Dubai recruited 8,700 new millionaires, bringing the city’s overall number of HNWIs to 81,200 by the end of 2024, up from 72,500 in 2023.

The number of ultra-wealthy individuals in Dubai—those with a net worth of more than $100 million—has increased to 237 by the end of 2024, up from 212 in 2023, demonstrating the emirate’s expanding appeal as a worldwide wealth hub.

Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi has seen a huge increase in its millionaire population during the last decade. Between 2014 and 2024, the capital had an 80% growth in the number of millionaires, with 17,800 by the end of 2024.

Abu Dhabi presently has roughly 75 centi-millionaires (individuals with a net worth of more than $100 million) and 8 billionaires, demonstrating the emirate’s growing reputation as a hub for wealth creation and investment.

Dubai, which now has 237 millionaires, and Abu Dhabi, which has 75 millionaires, are the top cities expected to see considerable rise in ultra-wealthy citizens over the next decade.

The number of affluent persons in both emirates with net worths over $100 million is predicted to double by 2034, owing to the region’s steady economic growth, investor-friendly atmosphere, and long-term strategic vision.

This anticipated wealth boom reflects a broader shift in the Middle East’s financial landscape, as Dubai and Abu Dhabi solidify their positions as global wealth hubs, aided by favorable tax regimes, robust infrastructure, and progressive economic reforms aimed at attracting high-net-worth individuals and foreign investors.
