The Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman will begin the building classification process on July 1st, 2024.
The process will last three months and will be carried out by a group of specialized and qualified professionals. This will closely examine building and real estate facility readiness, as well as compliance with standards and regulations.
Omar Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department, confirmed that the criteria are ready to classify buildings based on international standards and specifications. This classification will ensure the quality of services and assist investors with their investment decisions and options for renting or purchasing property in the emirate of Ajman.
Al Muhairi went on to say that an integrated electronic programme has been developed to classify buildings and display their results directly and transparently following field visits.
