In Sharjah, a brand-new freehold project dubbed “Khalid Bin Sultan City” has opened. Residences start at about Dh1 million.
The project, which bears the name of the late Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, will be constructed by Beeah, a business that has distinguished itself thus far with its eco-friendly energy initiatives and its opulent corporate offices.
His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the ruler of Sharjah and a member of the UAE Supreme Council, was the father of Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi.
“Sharjah’s residential freehold property market is booming – and not just that, the resale demand too is growing,” said Khaled Al Huraimel, Group CEO and Vice-Chairman of Beeah. “There is a demand for new homes in quality Sharjah developments like no other.”
Without a doubt, Sharjah’s real estate market is booming, with investor and end-user demand rising every quarter. For this reason, Beeah’s foray into the real estate market, accompanied by a flagship project like Khalid Bin Sultan City, is as timely as it gets.
Location of Sharjah’s new ‘City’
In Rodhat Al Sidir, the location of Beeah’s corporate headquarters, the Khalid bin Sultan City will take shape. In addition to the flats, there will be townhouses and villas; the prices and dates of their sales will be disclosed soon.
“The City will be along a 1.5 kilometer stretch and will be split into 7 neighborhoods,” said Al Huraimel. “It’s well located being near two major highways, one of which will be from the Sharjah Airport.”
Given Beeah’s history, the new development will focus on being a “climate-smart” destination and achieving Net Zero waste.
Along with all the other components that go into creating a completely integrated and self-sufficient community, the launch announced that Khalid bin Sultan City will include 1,500 residences.
The project will be near Arada’s Masaar ‘forested’ development and Sharjah Media City (Shams).
“We will use all our experience of being a sustainable energy company to build this project up,” said the Beeah CEO.
