As part of Dubai 10X, Sheikh Hamdan approves new, transformational projects

The Dubai Future Foundation’s Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, approved a number of new projects on 27 September in a number of important industries, including transportation, aviation, urban design, and healthcare.

The project approvals represent a significant turning point in the massive “Dubai 10X” plan of the Dubai Future Foundation, which seeks to establish Dubai as a global leader in future preparation. The third phase of the project focuses on actively bringing about a fundamental shift in the thinking of workers in the government sector in order to accomplish this goal. The ultimate objective is to motivate the development of unorthodox and innovative projects and activities on a worldwide scale, specifically designed to meet new challenges and seize new possibilities.

Sheikh Hamdan said: “We have approved a comprehensive set of transformational projects, which are set to enhance Dubai’s trajectory towards an innovative, dynamic future. Our objective is to ensure that the results of these projects distinctly elevate the quality of life for both Dubai’s residents and visitors, by not only enhancing their wellbeing but also prioritizing their health and overall living standards.

“These new projects are poised to streamline and expedite transportation within Dubai, enhance the travel experience at Dubai’s airports, and establish a robust healthcare system for early disease detection.”

The “Dubai 10X” project, he claimed, “reaffirms Dubai’s commitment to enhancing government operations, fostering collaboration, and embracing innovative ideas that play a pivotal role in advancing crucial sectors for the present and the future.”

Utilizing the various national skills that were available across all entities, he directed work streams inside the Dubai government to carry out the projects that had been endorsed. This directive aims to achieve the objectives of the “Dubai 10X” project, which are centered on supporting collaborative efforts across governmental bodies to hasten development and produce novel models that cities in the area and throughout the world might use.
