An international award-winning real estate firm, Sweid & Sweid, has announced that it has sold Abu Dhabi-based Aldar Properties the newly constructed Grade A office building, 6 Falak, which is situated in the center of Dubai Internet City.
The recently finished building, which offers over 90,000 square feet of institutional-caliber commercial office space, stands out as one of DIC’s best assets.
According to the developer, the fully occupied property is home to several multinational blue-chip tenants, such as Roland Berger, MSD, and IFS, and is situated on one of the last freehold plots left in the free zone.
On the key sale, Maher Sweid, Managing Partner of Sweid & Sweid, said: “The completion of this transaction marks another milestone for the company in creating world-class office spaces. 6 Falak represents the calibre of projects we always aim to deliver, and we are confident it will serve Aldar’s portfolio of high-quality assets well.”
He said that the sale of 6 Falak advances Sweid & Sweid’s larger development plan, which calls for expanding the company’s portfolio with projects that meet the demands of Dubai’s top commercial tenants.
Over the next six years, Sweid & Sweid plans to develop over 3 million square feet of Grade A commercial and industrial space as part of its ambitious vision.
Major developments in Sweid & Sweid’s pipeline at Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) include Sweid One, a 500,000-square-foot state-of-the-art commercial office building, and a mixed-use community center. The district’s lively community will be strengthened and the surrounding landscape will be transformed by these projects.
