AED4.9 billion in weeklong real estate transactions in Dubai

During the week ending 28 January 2022, 1,724 real estate transactions worth AED4.9 billion were recorded in Dubai, according to figures released by the Dubai Land Department.

The sale of 139 plots for AED784.14 million was followed by the sale of 1,172 apartments and villas for AED2.73 billion.

Three top transactions were for land in Al Thanayah Fourth sold for AED 50 million next, for AED 43 million, a land in Hadaeq Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid was sold, and for AED 50 million, a land in Al Thanayah Fourth was sold.

Al Hebiah Fifth had the most transactions this week with 62 sales transactions worth AED134.73 million, followed by Al Hebiah Fourth with 21 sales transactions worth AED154.78 million, and Al Yufrah 2 with 15 sales transactions worth AED15 million in third place.

Among the top three transfers for apartments and villas, one apartment was sold for AED383 million in Marsa Dubai; the second for AED270 million in Business Bay; and the third for AED252 million in Business Bay.

The total mortgaged properties for the week amounted to AED1.25 billion, with the highest loan amount of AED113 million on land in Al Muteena.

A total of 55 properties worth AED196 million were granted to first-degree relatives.
