8.2 billion in weeklong real estate transactions in Dubai

According to figures issued by the Dubai Land Department, a total of 2,135 real estate transactions worth a total of $8.2 billion were completed during the week ending April 1, 2022.

AED 1.45 billion was spent on 247 plots, while AED 3.09 billion was spent on 1,423 apartments and villas.

A land in Palm Jumeirah sold for AED 280 million, followed by a property in Hadaeq Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid that sold for AED 30.67 million, and land in Al Warqaa 3 that sold for AED 30 million in third place.

Al Hebiah Fifth led the way with 121 sales transactions worth AED 265.54 million this week, followed by Al Merkadh with 29 sales transactions worth AED 262.46 million and Hadaeq Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid in third place with 15 sales transactions for AED 225 million.

An apartment sold for AED 441 million in Marsa Dubai, a second apartment sold for AED 306 million in Burj Khalifa, and a third apartment sold for AED 276 million in Business Bay rounded out the top three transfers for apartments and villas.

The total amount of mortgaged properties for the week was 3.38 billion, with the largest amount being AED 1 billion for land in Nad Al Shiba First.

A total of 79 properties totaling AED 290 million were distributed among first-degree relatives.
