Would you like to camp on a beach in Dubai with your caravan? How to apply for a permit

If you have a caravan or trailer and want to take advantage of the cooler weather, you can camp at Jebel Ali public beach. But you must first request a permit from Dubai Municipality.

The only place in Dubai where caravan camping is permitted is on Jebel Ali Beach, but in order to take advantage of the activity, campers must first obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Dubai Municipality, the agency announced on Friday, October 21 via its online social media platforms.

The Dubai Municipality website offers a free online application process for the 30-day beach camping permit.

The Dubai Municipality said in 2020 that Jebel Ali Beach was the only beach open to guests for caravan camping because it had been established with caravan camping standards in mind.
