“The Blue Residency will specifically be granted to supporters of environmental action, including members of international organizations, international companies, members of associations and non-governmental organizations, global award winners, and distinguished activists and researchers in environmental work,” the UAE Cabinet announcement said.
How to apply for the Blue Residency visa?
According to the announcement, advocates and experts who are interested in the visa are invited to submit their applications directly to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP), or through nominations by competent authorities in the UAE.
