Visiting a park in your neighbourhood? Here's how to make an online park entry card

If you live in Sharjah and plan on visiting your local park, make sure you have your park access card with you.

Sharjah City Municipality gives the park access card through their official website – portal.shjmun.gov.ae – exclusively for neighborhood parks to ensure that only region residents use the community facilities.

Here is how you can register for the card:

Find the service on the Sharjah Municipality website

Click on the ‘Smart Services’ option on the menu tab at https://portal.shjmun.gov.ae/. The website will then display a list of Sharjah Municipality’s services. Scroll down to the ‘Parks & Recreational Areas’ section and select ‘Request for Issuance or Renewal of Entry Card.’

Register your personal and residential details

You will be taken to the application page after clicking on the service. Select ‘Enter the Service’ from the green tab. Fill out the park entry card form with the following information:

Attach the required documents

The following documents are necessary for the park access card:

A copy of the applicant’s Emirates identification card.

a copy of the leasing contract or a copy of the utility bill If you do not have a copy of your electricity bill, you can obtain one at a Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA) customer service center.

Upload the files into the application form once you’ve acquired all of the required documentation.

Pay the Sharjah Municipality fee and access the e-version of the park entry card

Pay the Dh15 service fee by online payment with your debit/credit card after completing the application form and submitting the documents. You will be able to access the electronic version of the park entry card after you have completed the payment. The following information will be included on the card:
