If you have chosen a monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual payment option for the Involuntary Loss of Employment (ILOE) scheme, it is likely that you have received this text message. However, you may be wondering how to proceed with the payment of the next installment in order to prevent the cancellation of the scheme and potential fines.

Here is a comprehensive guide on how to make the necessary installment payments.

1. Through the ILOE website

Step 1: Visit the ILOE website and login with a One-Time Password (OTP)

To access the ILOE platform, follow these simple steps:

  1. Start by visiting iloe.ae and locating the red button labeled ‘Subscribe Here’ on the homepage.
  2. Once you click on the button, a pop-up notification will appear. Click on the ‘Subscribe Here’ button within the notification.
  3. You will then be redirected to the ILOE login page. Here, choose the ‘Individual’ option, which is the first one listed.
  4. Select the sector that corresponds to your line of work. The options include private, federal, and non-registered in MOHRE (free zone).
  5. Provide your Emirates ID number or Unified Number, along with your mobile number.
  6. Click on the ‘Request OTP’ button to receive a One-Time Password via SMS.
  7. Enter the OTP you received and click ‘Submit’ to complete the process.

By following these steps, you will successfully subscribe to the ILOE platform and gain access to its features.

Step 2: Pay the installment

Within a matter of seconds, you will be seamlessly redirected back to the ILOE website, where you will receive a notification confirming the successful completion of your payment. Additionally, an email will be sent to your registered email address from ILOE, providing you with further assurance that your payment was successful. This email will also include an attachment of the receipt for your records.

By following these simple steps, you can effortlessly manage your insurance payments and stay up-to-date with your policy’s status.

2. Through the ILOE app

  1. Download the ‘ILOE’ application from either the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
  2. Open the application and choose the ‘login with an OTP’ option.
  3. Select the sector in which you are employed – private, federal, or non-registered in MOHRE (free zone).
  4. Input your Emirates ID number and mobile number.
  5. Tap on ‘Request an OTP’ and enter the OTP you receive via SMS.
  6. Tap ‘Submit’.
  7. You will then be directed to your personal dashboard.
  8. On the dashboard, you will find the dates for your installments and the due date for the next payment. Click on the ‘Pay Now’ button located below it.
  9. You will be redirected to a separate payment channel. Enter your credit or debit card details.
  10. Once you have entered the necessary information, tap on the ‘Pay’ button.

After a few moments, you will be redirected back to the ILOE app and receive a notification confirming the successful payment.

Additionally, an email will be sent to your registered email address from ILOE, providing confirmation of the successful payment along with a receipt attached.

3. Through ILOE call center

  1. Contact the official call center at 600 599 555.
  2. Choose your preferred language.
  3. Press 1 for inquiries, 2 for payment and subscription, or 3 to speak with an agent.
  4. Inform the call center agent that you would like to make installment payments.
  5. The agent will request your Emirates ID number, your name as it appears on your Emirates ID, and the email address associated with the ILOE scheme.
  6. Once you have provided this information, you will receive an email from ILOE containing a payment link.
  7. Click on the ‘Pay Now’ button within the email.
  8. You will then be directed to a secure payment channel. Enter your credit or debit card details.
  9. After entering your payment information, click on the ‘Pay’ button.

Within a few seconds, you will be redirected to the ILOE app and receive a notification confirming the successful payment.

Additionally, you will receive an email at your registered address from ILOE, including a receipt as an attachment, to confirm the payment was successful.

Missed an installment? You may face fines and policy cancellation

According to Ministerial Resolution No. 604 of 2022, which pertains to the Unemployment Insurance Scheme, failure to make installment payments for a period exceeding three months from the due date will result in the cancellation of the insurance certificate. Additionally, a penalty of Dh200 will be imposed.
