Soon, job seekers visiting the UAE will be able to benefit from a visit visa created especially for them, enabling them to go there without needing a host or sponsor to get them a visa.
The UAE government introduced a new type of entrance visa to “examine career options” in April of this year. In September, the decision is anticipated to take effect.
Who is eligible for the jobseeker’s visa and what is it like? The information released thus far is listed below.
60-day validity
The UAE government declared that the new visas, which include the visa to investigate career opportunities, contain the following characteristics:
- Require no host or sponsor
- Offer more flexibility, multiple-entry options
- 60 days validity
- One unified platform to apply through
The platform for applications has not yet been made public, but the 60-day validity of the visa is double that of standard, one-month visit visas.
Who is eligible?
The job exploration entrance visa, according to the cabinet announcement, aims to entice young talent and competent professionals to investigate work opportunities in the UAE.
The visa will be granted to:
- Those listed by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization as belonging to the first, second, or third competence level (MOHRE).
- Recent graduates from the top 500 universities worldwide.
A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent should be the applicant’s minimal level of education.
