How to sign up for Dubai Police’s free home security service?

To register for Dubai Police’s home security service through the app, follow these steps:

  1. Download the Dubai Police app
    Begin by downloading the ‘Dubai Police’ application, available on both Android and Apple devices. Once the app is open, navigate to the services tab and scroll down to the ‘Community Services’ category. Tap on ‘Home Security’.
  2. Complete the Home Security application
    Before accessing the registration form, you will receive a list of instructions from Dubai Police. These instructions serve as a checklist to ensure you have taken all necessary precautions:

– Reside in a villa or house to apply for the service.
– Secure all entrances and windows of your residence.
– Safeguard wardrobes and valuable items.
– Store money and valuables in a bank safe box.
– Avoid leaving keys in your vehicle.
– Inform a relative or friend to check on your house while you are away.
– Ensure water taps and electricity switches are turned off.
– Provide residence details at the nearest police station.
– Confirm indoor and outdoor cameras are operational.

You must check each box to indicate that you have implemented the precautionary measures.

    You can enter your Makani number or use Apple/Google Maps to locate the address. Additionally, please provide the following details:

After that, add in your travel details:

  1. Emergency Contact Information Required

Please provide the contact information for an individual who can be reached in case of an emergency. This should include their full name, mobile number, and landline number.

After entering your information, click on ‘Submit’ to review a summary of the details you have provided in the application. You will receive a transaction number via SMS and email for reference.

In the event of an emergency, Dubai Police’s call center at 901 will be notified that your residence is unoccupied. Patrol officers will prioritize monitoring your villa accordingly.
