The new GDRFA app lets you apply for or renew a Dubai visa

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs-Dubai has just released a new app that allows you to apply for a Dubai entry permit or finish the process of renewing your visa (GDRFA).

The “GDRFA DXB” app, which was introduced at the current Gitex Global 2022, is now accessible to Apple phone users. It is anticipated that the software will soon be made available to Google phone users as well.

Residents of Dubai can use the app to apply for establishment cards for businesses established in Dubai as well as entry permits and residency visas.

For candidates, the new app offers a fresh look and more functions.

5 visa services you can benefit from

Here are the visa services that are available for residents in the newly launched app:

Registering with the app

You have two options for signing in to the application: either use your UAE Pass account or register for GDRFA.

You must provide your personal data, including your complete name, date of birth, gender, and contact information, in order to establish an account. Your Emirates ID number will also be requested.

Get all your residency details

Your resident visa data will instantly sync with the app after you log in.

Users can also access a customized dashboard that displays their Unified ID number, visa file number, and [residency] status. The user’s dependents and their information will also be displayed on the dashboard.

The app’s dashboard displays the applicant’s resident visa’s remaining days before it expires, which might help them plan out their visa renewal in advance.

In fact, the app allows users to renew their visas and will alert them when their current one is due to expire. Your residency status will also be taken into account for the services you see on the app. For instance, you will have access to services connected to sponsoring dependents if you are sponsoring your spouse and children in Dubai.
