You can now benefit from a multiple-entry tourist visa to the UAE for just Dh100 if you are one of the fortunate few who has obtained a Qatar World Cup 2022 ticket.
The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) unveiled the plan on August 30, 2022.
However, what is a Hayya Card, and how do you obtain a multiple-entry tourist visa for the United Arab Emirates? Here is everything you require to know.
What is the Hayya card?
To enter the State of Qatar and access the stadiums, you need the Hayya Card, according to the official Qatar World Cup 2022 website, www.qatar2022.qa. The card is necessary to use the free public transportation in Qatar during the World Cup. You must own a ticket, though, in order to apply for the Hayya card.
How can one get the Hayya card?
To get the Hayya card, follow these steps:
- Go to https://hayya.qatar2022.qa/ and select “Apply for Hayya” from the menu in the upper right corner of the screen.
- After clicking “sign up,” provide your email address, full name, and password to create an account. Check the box to show that you have read the terms and conditions and enter the text verification code.
- Select “Sign up.” Your email address will be sent a one-time password (OTP), which you must enter in order to continue.
- You will then again need to click on ‘Apply for Hayya’ and select your category as an applicant –
– Match ticket holder
– Match voucher holder
– Match hospitality
– Accredited personnel (FIFA)
After entering the ticket application number, your ticket will be verified if you select the option for “Match ticket holder.”
To complete your registration, you must next input your passport information, contact information, and residential address.
You can then apply for multiple entry tourist visas to the UAE after you obtain the Hayya card.
How to apply for multiple entry tourist visas to the UAE?
To apply for a visa to the UAE, follow these steps:
– Visit https://smartservices.icp.gov.ae/echannels/web/client/guest/index.html#/dashboard
– Click on “Public services,” then choose ‘Hayya card holders’ visa.
– Complete the application form with your passport and Hayya card information.
From the day the visa is issued, you will be able to enter the UAE and stay there for up to 90 days.
The visa only costs Dh100 and allows for repeated entries while it is in effect.
The ICP further states that this visa may be renewed for a further 90 days, and applications may be submitted starting on November 1, 2022.
Only nationals of nations where visa applications are required are eligible for this visa. The ICP states that visa-exempt nationals may continue to enter and remain in the UAE in accordance with the present processes.
