The Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) is set to make its grand return in a few days, marking its 29th edition. This highly anticipated annual shopping extravaganza is renowned not only for its incredible sales but also for its captivating drone shows, art events, and installations that are open to all, free of charge.

Drone show

The drone shows will be held throughout the shopping festival.

The Dubai Shopping Festival’s (DSF) drone show is renowned as the longest-running drone light show in the region. This year, the show has partnered with Mohammed Saeed Harib, a prominent Emirati animator known for creating and producing the beloved cartoon series Freej. As a result, the show will incorporate an Emirati cultural element, adding a unique touch to the experience.

The first show, scheduled for 8 pm, will revolve around the significance of pearls and their historical and cultural importance in Dubai. The opening act will feature drones forming the city’s iconic cultural landscapes, showcasing the rich heritage of the region.

The second show, titled “Illustration of Dubai in the Future,” will take audiences on a captivating journey with an Emirati space explorer. This explorer will venture into the future through a portal, offering a glimpse of what lies ahead for Dubai.

Admission to the event is free; however, it is advisable to arrive early to secure a prime viewing spot.
