The Dubai Expo City reopens to visitors: Everything you need to know

In advance of the complete site opening to tourists next month, some areas of the Expo 2020 site are now accessible to the public from September 1.

Here is all you need to know if you plan to visit the famous attractions from Expo 2020 again.

When is Expo City Dubai opening?

The full Expo 2020 Dubai site will open on October 1; however, two pavilions—Alif, The Mobility Pavilion, and Terra, The Sustainability Pavilion—opened today, September 1.

From September 1, the public can use the spinning viewing tower at Garden in the Sky.

Ticket cost

Entry tickets for each pavilion cost Dh50.

Garden in the Sky – Dh30.

Children and adults with disabilities under the age of 12 are admitted free of charge to pavilions. Children under five are admitted free to Garden in the Sky.

How to buy tickets

Tickets are available at four box offices at Expo City Dubai as well as on the Expo website, expocitydubai.com.

What are the pavilion timings?

Alif and Terra will be open daily from 10 am to 6 pm.

Garden in the Sky – 3 pm to 6 pm. From September 16, the timings will be 10 am to 6 pm.

How can one reach Expo City Dubai?

Metro

This is the most efficient means of transportation to get here. You may go from the city of Dubai to the entrance to Expo City Dubai via the Red Line of the Dubai Metro.

Taxi

Although you can book a taxi over the phone, it’s easiest to download the Careem, Uber, or S’hail app.

Car

If you’re driving, you can get to Expo City Dubai from any major road by following the signs to Expo City Dubai, which is located on E77, Expo Road. Follow the signage to one of the four authorized parking areas, Opportunity, Mobility, Sustainability, or DEC parking, after you are on E77.
