Pay for entry fees with your phone at Dubai parks with new ticket machines

If you have recently visited a major public park in Dubai, you may have noticed a new ticket machine located near the ticket office at the entrance. This innovative smart ticketing system, introduced by Dubai Municipality, now offers visitors the convenience of using their phone, credit, or debit card to pay entrance fees. The system was first implemented in October 2023 at Safa Park.

This new service has now been extended to other prominent public parks in Dubai, including Zabeel Park, Mamzar Beach Park, and Creek Park. The introduction of these self-service machines allows visitors to easily purchase tickets using their phone, credit, or debit card. Alternatively, tickets can still be purchased with cash at the counter.

It is worth noting, however, that the Quranic Park in Al Khawaneej only accepts nol cards, as confirmed by the Dubai Municipality’s customer service center.

By implementing this new smart ticketing system, Dubai Municipality aims to enhance the visitor experience at public parks, making it more convenient and efficient for individuals to access these recreational spaces. This technological advancement aligns with Dubai’s commitment to providing cutting-edge services and embracing digital solutions.

The introduction of the smart ticketing system not only streamlines the ticket purchasing process but also reduces the reliance on physical cash transactions, promoting a more secure and hygienic environment. Visitors can now enjoy the parks without the hassle of carrying cash or worrying about exact change.

Furthermore, this modernization initiative reflects Dubai’s dedication to staying at the forefront of technological advancements. By embracing digital payment methods, the city continues to position itself as a global leader in innovation and convenience.

In conclusion, the new smart ticketing system introduced by Dubai Municipality has revolutionized the way visitors access major public parks in the city. With the ability to use their phone, credit, or debit card, individuals can conveniently purchase tickets and enjoy the parks without any hassle. This advancement showcases Dubai’s commitment to providing exceptional services and embracing technological progress.

How will visitors pay for tickets at Dubai public parks now?

In the past, visitors to the park were able to use their nol card to pay the entry fee. They simply had to scan it at an e-gate machine to gain access. However, there has been a recent change in the system. Now, a paper ticket with a Quick Response (QR) code is issued instead. This ticket can be obtained from the smart ticket machines or at the ticket counter if you prefer to pay in cash.
