DHA published the breakdown of benefits on its official social media channels on November 29, the same day it announced that booster shots for Pfizer would be provided to all eligible adults. In accordance with the announcement, you can receive one or two booster doses of the Pfizer vaccine, depending on which vaccine you originally received.

Who is eligible?

First of all, it is important to note that DHA will only give booster shots to Dubai residency visa holders and nationals, as per the official announcement posted on their social media channels.

Which vaccine did you originally receive?

Category 1

This category of patients will receive one booster dose of Pfizer BioNTech after six months from their second dose. The minimum age requirement is 18 years old.

Category 2

Once the Johnson and Johnson dose has been administered, a Pfizer BioNTech booster dose will be administered after two months. The minimum age requirement is 18 years old.

Category 3

Those who fall into this category will receive two booster shots from Pfizer BioNTech after three months from the second dose of Sinopharm and Sinovac. Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.
