Which documents does one need to sponsor my husband?

How to apply for the visa
Step 1: Apply for an entry permit
If your husband lives outside of the UAE, you must first apply for entry permission at an Amer center or a recognized typing center. With this entry permission, your husband can visit the UAE, and after that, you can proceed with the application process for a residence visa. You can still apply for an entry permit if he is already in the UAE, but you will also need to undergo a procedure known as “changing status,” which enables an applicant to get entry permission from the immigration authorities while they are already within the nation.
Step 2: Fill out the visa application
The next step is to submit a visa application, which can be done at either the Amer center or the typing center. You can obtain the application for your medical fitness exam, which will help you in the following stage while completing the visa application.
Step 3: Get a medical fitness test done
Then, your husband must visit a nearby DHA Medical Fitness test center to undergo a medical fitness exam.
Step 4: Apply for Emirates ID
The next step is to complete an application for an Emirates ID, which can be done at an Amer Center or a typing facility. But if your spouse is applying for a residency permit in the UAE for the first time, he will have to provide his thumbprint as part of the biometric information.
