Municipal authorities in various Emirates have advised citizens that they can report any waterlogging through emergency contact centres that operate round-the-clock due to the UAE witnessing severe rain and hail in several areas over the week.
These are the emergency numbers that you can call in the UAE if you have any problems related to the buildup of rainwater or a disruption in the power supply, even if the rains will lessen in severity over the weekend.
How to report rainwater accumulation in the UAE?
You can report any accumulated rainwater to the local municipal body in your Emirate, and they will drain the area.
Abu Dhabi
You can contact the call centre for the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipality and Transport at 800 850, which is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
As an alternative, you can utilise the “Take a photo and Report” feature of the “Tamm” mobile app to report any damage to public works and infrastructure. To learn more, click here.

You can contact the Dubai Municipality’s 24-hour phone centre at 800 900 to report rainwater accumulation, or you can send the organisation a WhatsApp message at the same number.
Sharjah
If you are experiencing an emergency, you can contact the Sharjah Municipality at (93) to report local flooding or weather-related damage. This service is offered constantly.
Ajman
For any damages that may be caused by the intense rain, call the Ajman Municipality at 80070.
Umm Al Quwain
Umm Al Quwain Municipality also has a toll-free number residents can contact – 800 898.
Ras Al Khaimah
To report rainwater accumulation in Ras Al Khaimah, contact the Public Service Department (PSD) on 8008118.
Fujairah
Call the customer service line at 80036 for Fujairah Municipality, which will be open 24 hours a day during adverse weather.

Abu Dhabi
The Emirate’s water and electricity distribution is planned, operated, maintained, and owned by Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC), which also has a 24-hour call centre at 800 2332 to address any difficulties.
Dubai
The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) offers two phone numbers for assistance: for the customer service line, dial 04 601-9999, and for emergencies, dial 991 at any time.
Sharjah
There are two distinct call centres run by the Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA). Call 991 in case of an emergency, or 600 566665 to speak with a customer service representative.
For the Northern Emirates
Etihad Water and Electricity is the federal agency in charge of managing and supervising the supply and distribution of electricity and desalinated water to people in Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah.
Etihad Water and Electricity have three toll-free numbers:
