Residents in Ras Al Khaimah now have a convenient new mode of transportation within the emirate, thanks to the recent introduction of the RAK Ride Express bus service by the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA).
The launch of this bus service on April 4 signifies a significant step towards enhancing the transportation infrastructure in Ras Al Khaimah. The RAK Ride Express bus service aims to facilitate easier commutes for residents, connecting industrial areas to the city center and providing a more efficient means of transportation within the emirate. This initiative by RAKTA is set to improve accessibility and connectivity for residents, ultimately contributing to the overall development and growth of Ras Al Khaimah.
The RAK Ride bus route
According to RAKTA, the inaugural phase of the RAK Ride service will establish a vital connection between the Al Ghail industrial area and Al Nakheel in the heart of Ras Al Khaimah. This route will traverse through the Adhen area and Ras Al Khaimah airport, offering commuters a convenient and efficient mode of transportation. The journey from the Al Nakheel station to the Al Ghail industrial station is estimated to take approximately 45 minutes.
