If you are unable to enroll in the UAE Unemployment Insurance Scheme, here's what you need to do

Have you been attempting to enrol in the unemployment insurance programme but have been unsuccessful? If so, according to a notice on the subscription website, you might have to bring up your concern directly with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE).

Applicants are now given the following notification upon enrolling in the insurance programme through the Involuntary Loss of Employment (ILOE) website, iloe.gov.ae:

  1. If you are an employee in the private sector and have a work permit issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) – Please submit a technical support ticket on the MOHRE website or mobile app or get in touch with the MOHRE call centre if, after entering your data, you are unable to locate your information.
  2. If you are an employee in the federal government sector – Please get in touch with the human resources department of the organisation where you work if, after entering your details, you cannot find your information.
  3. If you are an employee in a free zone – Please be aware that the unemployment insurance policy does not currently provide coverage for employees in free zones (ILOE).

It is advised that you contact MOHRE to learn how to subscribe if you are having technical problems despite working a full-time job in the private sector. It’s vital to remember that the mandatory scheme’s subscription deadline is June 30, 2023.
