With its continuous strategy to give incorporated financial solutions for people and organizations, The Dubai Police General HQ has recently declared a long-term partnership with the Central Bank of the UAE and Dubai Islamic Bank, under which the banks’ credit card holders can use a unique and helpful approach to pay their traffic fines.
Dubai police have introduced this 0% installment programme for traffic fines in Dubai along with certain banks. So one can avail this service for the credit card holders from certain banks and can be availed of to split the payments into equal monthly installments.
Available all year round, Dubai-based residents with credit cards registered with either of these banks will be able to use the service:
- First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB)
- Emirates NBD
- ADCB
- Emirates Islamic Bank
- Dubai Islamic Bank
- Standard Chartered Bank
- Commercial Bank International
People can pay the traffic fine with 0% interest and these installments have the plan for a 3, 6, 9, and 12-month period. One can avail of this offer with a fine of about AED 500 or more. The certain terms and conditions for fine repayment are different for different banks.

One can pay the fine directly through the Dubai Police website or download its online application available on google play store or apple store.
Inquiring about the traffic fines:
- When you inquire using Dubai Driving License Number, only violations against this License Number will be displayed
- When you inquire using Plate Number, only violation against this Plate Number will be displayed.
- When you inquire using Traffic Code Number (T.C), all violations against this T.C Number will be displayed.
- Also will be displayed: Black Points on the Driving License No., vehicles required for detention, and details of the detention.
- Electronic Payments are allowed only within the UAE using Local Proxies.
- Credit cards and debit cards issued outside UAE are not allowed for Electronic Payments.
