A new vaccine center just for children has been opened in Abu Dhabi for parents looking to vaccinate their children.

On January 27, the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company, SEHA, announced the opening of the Ettihad Heroes Healthcare Centre, which will provide vaccinations for children aged three to 16 years old. The following information will help you understand the center and how to get your child vaccinated.

Where is it?

Children can receive the COVID-19 vaccine in Al Mushrif. The new vaccination facility was opened in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP), the Department of Health (DOH), and the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority. It will be located in the same place as the previous Ettihad Healthcare Centre.

What are the working hours?

Ettihad Heroes Healthcare Centre is open from Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Which vaccines are they offering?

Children can receive Sinopharm and Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines at the vaccination center.

When should I vaccinate my child against COVID-19?

Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines are for children between the ages of 12 and above and Sinopharm vaccines are for children from 3 to 16 years old, according to Abu Dhabi’s DOH.

Do I need to book an appointment?

According to Seha, you do not need to book an appointment. SEHA vaccination centers allow walk- in’s for children.
