Dubai is known as one of the leading tourism destinations. It attracts a huge number of visitors i.e. either tourists or professionals every year from all around the world.
In order to promote tourism, the government of UAE has announced various acts and laws one of which is a five-year Tourist Visa that allows multiple entries of the people in the country.
The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) has informed applicants of the process of applying for multiple-entry tourist visas for five years, which are available online for all nationalities.
About Five-year multiple-entry tourist visas:
This new Dubai tourist visa for 5 years was announced after a cabinet meeting. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai chaired the meeting.
The five-year visa does not require a guarantor. On each entry, the five-year visa holder can stay in the country for 90 days, which could be extended for another 90 days. This visa is open to any nationalities, the visa holder can enter and exit the country as many times as they require.
The five-year, multi-entry UAE tourist visa announcement was made on 21st March 2021.
Duration:
Tourists can stay for 90 days on each trip with this visa. There is the possibility of extending this to 90 more days.
How to apply?
- Log on to the ICA website ie. on www.ica.gov.ae
- Choose ‘E-channel Services’
- Select ‘Public services’
- Choose ‘Visa – multi-trip/tourist long-term (5 years) for all nationalities/visa issuance’
- Fill the application form provided
- Attach the necessary documents (passport copy, medical insurance copy, bank statement)
- Review the application
- Pay the fees (The application fee is Dh650)
After receiving a UAE visa, you should also check the vaccination requirements and PCR test requirements before booking a flight.
