How to apply for a Police Clearance Certificate or a Good Conduct Certificate?

Your police clearance certificate (PCC) proves that you have a good conduct record. It is available to applicants who are currently residing in the UAE as well as to those who are no longer residing in the UAE.

What is a PCC?

Police Clearance Certificates (PCCs), sometimes called ‘Good Conduct Certificates’, are documents that indicate whether a person has a criminal record or not in the state they reside. These certificates are issued by police departments throughout the UAE, and they indicate that a person is not accused or has no criminal records.

How to apply?

The PCC is available to all applicants, regardless of whether they are currently residing in the UAE or not.

The Ministry of Interior’s website moi.gov.ae, as well as their mobile app MOI UAE available on iTunes and Google Play, allows you to apply for a certificate online. If you prefer, you can also visit one of the Ministry of Interior’s service centers and get the document done after filling out the application form and paying the applicable fees via the electronic payment system.

Dubai Police offers the service through its website or through its smart app. You can get it offline by visiting the Dubai Police offices.
