Ras Al Khaimah residents and visitors can now take abras on a tour of the Emirate’s creek. On Wednesday, February 16, Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) launched its new marine transport project.

On their official social media channels, RAKTA announced that abras are operated by licensed, qualified drivers and equipped with smart cameras and GPS tracking systems to ensure the safety of passengers.

Where are the abra stations?

The RAKTA announced that there are four abra stations. The following are:

  1. Corniche Station 1
  2. Corniche Station 2
  3. Hilton Garden Inn Station
  4. Manar Mall Station

What is the process for purchasing abra tickets?

You can book an abra or purchase tickets at the marine transport stations located in Al Qawasim Corniche. Tickets can be purchased with cash or credit cards.

How much is the abra fee?

RAK abra timings

Mon-Fri: 10 a.m.-7 p.m.

Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays: 10 am to 9 pm.
