How can one apply for baby's birth certificate, passport, and visa in UAE?

For Emirates citizens:

Emirates citizens can use the integrated e-Service (Mabrouk Ma Yak service) to acquire the following documents for their newborn baby soon:

What all things are required in order to use Mabrouk Ma Yak services?

The parent of the newborn is required to apply for the service within three months after the baby is born. The newborn’s name will be registered in the country’s population register. Furthermore:

Other than all these requirements the baby must be born in hospitals that are authorized to provide the Mabrouk Ma Yak services along with:

Passport:

Emirati parents can apply for a newborn baby’s passport application in the UAE through:

Birth certificate:

The Emirati parents can get the birth certificate directly from the hospital if the baby is born in the government hospital whereas if the baby is born in a private hospital they have different procedures i.e. the private hospital will issue a “notification of birth” written in Arabic. After this, the parents are required to apply for the birth certificate through the relevant health authorities in their emirates or the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP).

For Expats residents:

Birth certificate:

The ex-pat residents of newborns are required to apply for a child’s birth certificate within a month. 

Documents required:

The ex-pat parents are required to submit the following documents at the hospital of birth or at their emirate’s health authority:

Passport:

Expatriate residents can apply for passports for the newborn baby by their pertinent foreign embassies in the UAE. Once the birth certificate is attested by the authorities.

Emirates ID and residence visa:

The parents can apply for Emirates ID and residence visa at a typing center or they can apply for it online through the Federal Authority of Identity and Citizenship (FIAC).

For Dubai, the parents are required to visit an Amer center.

Documents required at the Amer center:

Amer center takes about two days in order to process the request or the application. The visa will be mailed on the registered mail id.
