Finding a job in the UAE

There are various methods available to secure a job in the UAE even if you are not currently residing in the country. One option is to seek assistance from local recruitment agencies in your country of residence, as they can help you identify suitable job opportunities. Alternatively, you can directly apply to UAE-based organizations by visiting their websites.

If you have already found a job, the majority of the paperwork will be handled by your employer. The initial step in obtaining your work permit is to acquire an entry visa. Depending on your nationality, this visa can be obtained prior to your arrival or upon arrival in the UAE.

Once you have arrived in the UAE, your employer can initiate the process of obtaining a residence visa and a labor card within the first 60 days of your arrival in the country.

Work permit application

Your employer will provide you with a comprehensive list of documents required for your work permit application. These documents include:

  1. A copy of your passport, which should be valid for at least six months.
    2. A completed visa application form.
    3. A passport-sized photograph.
    4. Your entry permit, which is the visa you used to enter the UAE.
    5. A valid health certificate.
    6. Three copies of your employment contract.
