Find out if you qualify for the UAE Golden Visa

Numerous categories of residents, including investors, scientists, deserving high school students, and accomplished athletes, are now eligible for the long-term residency permit owing to the establishment of the UAE Golden Visa.

Since the announcement was made earlier this year, you might be unsure of whether you fall under any of the stated categories. If so, a formal test developed by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) will inform you in two minutes whether you qualify for a Golden Visa.

What is the Golden Visa quiz?

You can access the Golden Visa quiz through this link: https://smartservices.icp.gov.ae/echannels/web/client/guest/index.html#/checkEligibility.

You must select one of the two options for each of the 16 questions. The test asks you about any investments you may have made in the United Arab Emirates, any volunteer work you may have done, as well as your qualifications and accomplishments. This test is meant to help you determine which category of the Golden Visa you might fit into.

If you have a high-Grade Point Average (GPA) and have graduated from college, for instance, you can be asked, “Are you one of the excellent university graduates who graduated in the country with a GPA of no less than 3.8?”

If the answer was “yes,” you might then apply for a university graduate’s Golden Visa.

The website will take you to the online application form for the particular category under which you qualify once you have responded to all the questions.

How can one apply for a Golden Visa?

First and foremost, you must have the proper documentation confirming your eligibility for the Golden Visa category for which you are seeking.

According to the category for which you are applying for the Golden Visa, it is advised that you speak with an immigration office or a registered typing center to learn more about all the paperwork you might require. Contact an Amer center, which processes visa applications on behalf of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, if you are applying for a visa through Dubai (GDRFA). You would need to get in touch with the ICP for any other Emirate.

You may need to make specific arrangements after receiving a complete list of all the documents required for your application. For example, you may need to arrange for your property paperwork for an investment visa or request a letter of recommendation from a Ministry or Council.

Once you have all of the necessary paperwork, applying for a Golden Visa is a rather simple process.
