Find out how you can explore Hatta's most popular attractions for just Dh2 with Dubai Destinations

You don’t need to consider driving around to get to Hatta’s most popular outdoor destinations. Take the brand-new “Hatta On and Off” bus, which will pick you up and drop you off in the most popular spots near “the Highlands of Dubai,” to get where you need to go.

The Hatta Express Bus, which transports commuters from Dubai city to Hatta, and the special “Hatta on and off” bus service were both introduced by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) on Tuesday, December 20. This month, the Supreme Committee to Oversee the Development of Hatta launched the “Hatta, The Highlands of Dubai” campaign.

You can get to Hatta and navigate the town without a car by utilising the Express Bus service and the “Hatta On and Off” bus.

Where to find the ‘Hatta On and Off’ bus?

For just Dh25, the Express Bus will transport you to the Hatta Bus station and departs from the Dubai Mall station. It takes about 90 minutes to travel.

You can board the “Hatta On and Off” bus and begin exploring once you get to the Hatta main bus stop.

Bus Timings

The bus operates daily from 7 am to 9 pm and departs every 30 minutes.

Cost

Per stop, the bus ticket is Dh2. You can either pay the bus driver in cash or use your Nol Card.

The following Hatta tourist attractions will have “Hatta On and Off” buses stationed there:

  1. Hatta Wadi Hub

Apart from the MTB bike trail,

Visitors can participate in a variety of adventure sports at the Hatta Wadi Hub, such as biking on a track that can be up to 50 kilometres long but also has shorter circuits for beginners, throwing an axe or an arrow, or zorbing, which involves rolling downhill inside a huge translucent ball. Additionally, there is a sizable 12 m-high water slide where you can cool yourself, practise flips, and splash down.

  1. Hatta Hill Park

The Hatta Hill Park, placed atop the residential Hatta hill, provides mountainous and natural green spaces for picnics and family outings, as well as a winding walkway for park visitors, designated picnic and barbecue areas on the hills, shaded areas with seating, a children’s play area, and a park gym.

Timings: 8 am – 11 pm

  1. Hatta Heritage Village

The Hatta Heritage Village, which has been conserved and rebuilt by the government to show agricultural life from centuries ago, is located in the centre of the town. With restored cottages and buildings selling traditional goods, the village, which debuted in 2001, brings Dubai’s history to life.

Timings: Saturday- Thursday: 7:30 am till 8:30 pm & Fridays: 2:30 pm till 8:30 pm

  1. Hatta Dam

Visitors like renting kayaks, water bikes, or pedal boats on an hourly basis to explore the enormous lake that Hatta Dam and the mountains surrounding it have created.

Additionally, you can take a ride in an electric boat to explore the tranquil lake and the nearby mountain range.
