Every UAE resident must complete government service applications

Have you ever been late and hoped a taxi will come by soon? Have you ever had bills that were due the next day, but all of the offices were closed? Are you planning a trip out of the nation but don’t know where to go for credible information and booking options? Governments around the UAE have developed applications that act as a one-stop-shop for not just government but also business sector services.

These are the apps you should have on your phone if you want to complete tasks like paying bills, applying for traffic services, or checking flight information in the UAE.

UAE Pass

Consider UAE Pass to be a single, unified account that may be used to log in to any of the other apps listed below. In 2018, the application was introduced in the UAE as a secure national digital identity. You will no longer need different identities and passwords for all of the government departments you frequently contact once you download and register the app. You can simply use your UAE Pass to log in.

You can also use the app to digitally sign documents and to access digital versions of government documents for a variety of purposes.

The Apple App Store and Google Play Store both have the app available for download. Users can register using their Emirates ID and verify their identification using face recognition technology, or they can use their Emirates ID to visit a local kiosk.

Al Hosn

The UAE’s national COVID-19 registry, Al Hosn, provides information on a user’s immunization status as well as prior COVID-19 test results. Access to some public facilities in the UAE, such as Abu Dhabi and Al Ain airports, requires a green status on Al Hosn.

A grey status on Al Hosn indicates that the person’s PCR test result is no longer valid (you must take a test every 14 days to retain a green status), while a red status indicates that the most recent test was positive and the user should contact the local health authority for assistance. Users who have a grey status may be unable to enter public areas that require a Green Pass.

The Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Huawei AppGallery, and Samsung Galaxy Store all have the app accessible for download.

TAMM Abu Dhabi

Each Emirate in the UAE has established its own initiative to meet the UAE’s digital government objectives. The Abu Dhabi Digital Authority introduced the ‘TAMM Abu Dhabi Government Services’ app in 2021 in Abu Dhabi. The app gives users access to Abu Dhabi government services such as visa applications, discovering healthcare facilities, paying utility and communications bills, learning about the Abu Dhabi education system, and even locating the nearest beach.

The app may be downloaded from both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. To use the features, users must have a UAE Pass or register on the TAMM app or website. The TAMM platform is also available online at https://www.tamm.abudhabi/en/.

DubaiNow

Smart Dubai Government established DubaiNow in 2015 to give customers access to more than 120 government and private sector services in Dubai. Health, transportation, security and justice, residency, education, and business are just a few of the services available.

The software may be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and can be used to renew your car registration, pay for gasoline, locate pharmacies, pay Zakat, apply for family visas, and more.

Digital Sharjah

The Sharjah Digital Office developed the Digital Sharjah app, which allows users to access Sharjah government services on a single platform. The app allows users to pay Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA) bills, book a cab, check flight information, register as community volunteers, pay for public parking, and start a company.

The app is available for download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. You can also access the platform through the following link: https://ds.sharjah.ae/home

You can log in with your UAE Pass or remain as a guest to use the app, while some services may require you to check-in.

AjmanOne

The Department of Digital Ajman developed AjmanOne to provide easy access to various government services in the Emirate. The app is compatible with both iOS and Android devices. You can also use the website https://www.ajman.ae/en to access the Digital Ajman platform.

Education, transit, health, bill payment, real estate, and other topics are covered in the app and website. Prayer times can be found, ATMs and money exchange houses can be found, real estate agencies may be found, and parking spaces can be reserved.

To use the application or website, you can log in through the UAE Pass.

Digital Fujairah

Digital Fujairah was developed by the Department of E-Government Fujairah to provide a single platform for government services in the emirate of Fujairah. Among other things, users can find nearby mosques, learn about educational institutions, and view petrol stations and transit terminals.

Health, Islamic services, government services, daily life, education, and transportation are among the categories covered by the app. Apple and Android smartphones can be used to download Digital Fujairah.

The user can sign in using UAE Pass or create a Digital Fujairah account to access the services.

mRAK

The Ras Al Khaimah administration established mRAK as the Emirate’s mobile gateway for government services.

Citizens, residents, visitors, and businesses in Ras Al Khaimah can use the app, which is available for Android and Apple devices, to access around 88 smart services. Users can use the site to apply for government positions, learn more about Ras Al Khaimah, look at authorized educational institutions, and look for potential investments in the emirate, among other things.

Users can log in using their UAE Pass credentials or create a new account.

SmartUAQ

Users in Umm al Quwain can access local department services through the SmartUAQ application, which was developed by the Smart Umm Al Quwain Government department.

In the Emirate, citizens, residents, visitors, and businesses can get help with Islamic activities and religious affairs, work and employment, family, education, safety, the environment, business permits, regulation, transportation, and animals and pets.

Users can also view various services based on their requirements, which are categorized into ‘citizens, “residents,’ ‘visitors,’ and ‘companies.’ Both the Apple Software Store and Google Play have versions of the app. The portal is also available online at http://uaq.ae.

Users can log in with their UAE Pass or create an account on the app or website.
